Lucas Edem

Lucas Edem
Lucas Edem was born in Togo Africa. He is the eldest of 4 siblings. His family was raised by a single mother who worked very hard to afford the cost of living and the cost for his university. He started studying architecture but his mother could only afford 2 years of study. Before immigrating to Canada , his family moved to a refugee camp called Aguame located in Benin, Africa for 2 years. Canada offered better healthcare for his sister, Chimene, who was paralyzed in an accident. She later passed away from a heart seizure in 2012. Lucas has since dedicated much of my time to create music. Prior to leaving Africa, he was creating music and now having better resources in Vancouver, he wants to continue to produce music and speak to the world in different languages. He focuses his lyrics on deeper meanings of life and continue to strive forward to express the hardship all races, and genders of people go through in their own way to get to where they want to be. His future goal is to become successful within the music industry and invest my earnings into building more universities in Togo to help low income families afford to go to school. He also want to build a few churches and housing for these families and become recognized for not only becoming a known artist, but an artist who wants to provide opportunity for all. ~VRADProfile~
